CHOOSING A HERMITAGE-CABIN

We invite you to choose one of our four hermitages for retreat. We will do our best to honor your preference for a specific hermitage; however, we may need to give you a different one if circumstances so require. We will alert you to any changes in your reservation in real-time. If the dates you had hoped to reserve are booked please do not be too dismayed. Rather, feel free to check the online calendar (often) to see in real-time sudden openings due to cancellations. 
 

If retreatants are seeking a long-term hermitage-cabin stay for a sabbatical (in Sacro Speco), then we may need to alter your initial choice for a specific hermitage to accommodate the needs of ALL our guests.
 

COST-DONATION FOR HERMITAGE

• The asking donation per Hermitage is $50 per night for the first 7 nights, and $35 a night thereafter
• For a long term stay in Sacro Speco the asking donation is $50 per night for the first 7 nights and $35 a night thereafter. Depending on the length of stay, a sliding scale may be used. 

CHOICE OF DATES AND HERMITAGE-CABINS

1. Go to the online calendar. Click on your preferred calendar dates to see what hermitages are available.  

2. Choose a hermitage that is available/not booked for the dates you want.  

3. Go to the online reservation form. Fill out the form. Indicate your preferred hermitage and dates. 

4. We require a minimum stay of two nights.   

5.  Upon completing the online request for a reservation.  Hit the “submit” button and we will determine if these dates and hermitage are available.

• After hitting the submit button you will automatically receive an email from E-Catholic stating the Hesychia Sisters received your retreat request 

• The Hesychia Sisters need to verify that these dates and hermitage(s) are available
   

1. The Hesychia Sister will email you once the dates and hermitage are verified.
2. To Complete and book your reservation a non-refundable $100 donation is required.
3. Please go to the “Donate” Section for this transaction. 
4. Credit/debit cards and PayPal options are available to secure your non-refundable $100 deposit.
5. This deposit covers the first two nights of your stay. 

  *Upon departure of your retreat you may submit the remaining donation payment via check, cash, or credit/debit card. 

NON SMOKING FACILITY

Please note that the hermitages-cabins and grounds, both inside and outside of Hesychia House of Prayer, are non-smoking. 
 

INTERNET

Our internet capacity is limited. Therefore, before you arrive at Hesychia, we ask that you download any spiritual digital books, videos, or music to your electronic devices with the WIFI at your home. Cellular service is available from most carriers. 
 

CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION

We will be sorry to miss you at this time. However, we understand that “life happens”. If you need to cancel your reservation, then please do so as soon as possible by clicking HERE.
 

SAFETY

For the safety and well-being of all at Hesychia, we reserve the right to refuse a reservation as well as to ask a guest to leave where we prudently decide it is necessary
